On October 4, Whole Foods donated 5 percent of net sales, or $10,300, to the Newton Schools Foundation, a new record.  Thank you to Whole Foods and to everyone who shopped there on October 4 to support the Newton Schools Foundation.

Newton Schools Foundation Welcomes New Executive Director

The Newton Schools Foundation (NSF) is pleased to welcome Rick Iacobucci as its new executive director.  Iacobucci most recently served as development director for Quincy-based Mini Fenway Park, Inc.

 Iacobucci comes to NSF with a wealth of fundraising experience with non-profit organizations and educational institutions.  During his nine years at Mini Fenway, he successfully led the capital campaign to build a kid-sized Fenway Park for Boston area youth.  Prior to that he served as director of major gifts for UMass Boston’s College of Nursing, creating the college’s first development office and directing its fundraising activities. He was also director of college advancement at Framingham State University where he launched the school’s planned giving program, and was director of development for Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts.

Iacobucci is a graduate of Boston College and received his master’s degree from Lesley University with a concentration in fundraising management.  Rick can be reached at rick_iacobucci@newton.k12.ma.us or 617-559-6122
